Hi!
I don't have energy to study their macros, so I code this tasks simply in Matlab :)

eirp is right, the best way to get high resolution and nice plots from simulators is to get the results in ASCII format from them, and then simply plot it wih MATLAB. (its the case at least for CST, 1E3D and HFSS). this way can give vector outputs (ps for Latex, and emf for word), wich is best for publish too. i thought i should post a message about my experiences in this, and my headaches! even smith chart plot is so better in this way. just load a simple smith chart plot, hold on the plot, and plot the S11 on it.
